Hello everyone, today I will speak about the place where I usually vacation. I have always gone on holiday to the region of Araucania, from this region comes my family, so it is the time in the year I see my uncles, cousins and grandparents. The exact locality is the rural area of the commune of Renaico called Tolpan. The last time I went was on September 18, 2019 I went with my girlfriend, my mother and a friend of my mother. On this occasion we toured forests, rivers and houses of my family, it was very nice since I could show my girlfriend the place where my family comes from I could show him the places where I played, explored or just looked at the place. in addition we also toured the Renaico, where there are many tourist places for the old railway activity, we took many photos in the abandoned locomotives and in the bridge that crosses the main river… were very good memories. I hope to go next year, passing the current problems and see them again, besides going to chol chol, ...

The country I want to visit is England, because it is a very culturally rich country, literature, history and science are very interesting, in addition to all the tourist places that london has.   England is a constituent country of the United Kingdom, the capital is London and still have monarchy. London has tourist places like the tower of london, the big ben, the British museum, among others. Historically we have a strong representative of the Middle Ages or the cradle of the industrial revolution. In literature have great references of all times as:  William Shakespeare,  J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, Orwell, etc. The country has been prepared for the environment of several series, films or books that I liked, how: Sherlock holmes, Game of Thrones, etc.   I would like to study there, as universities are world reference, for example oxford I want to develop academically and maybe live for a time in this country. The course that I have liked most this year has undoubtedly been forensic chemistry. Although it has been an online semester, the topics seen are very interesting to investigate outside of class even, we have seen various topics, such as explosives, drugs and fires. The objective of the main course, is to know the analytical methods to find various evidences, how the most common forms in which these crimes are committed and some related cases. I like this because since I was little I have liked the detective series and the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. So this course has helped me to understand a little more how forensic science works.

I don’t admire any specific people, but in my university staff I think I have met people who really seem to be from another world. when I was freshman, I had introductory courses where they made several talks of the areas where I could work as a pharmacist and one of those exhibitions left a mark on me. The professor who gave this talk is Dr. Sergio Lavandero, He is a pharmacist at the University of Chile, He has carried out research in the areas of signal transduction in biomedicine, specifically in the study of cardiovascular diseases. His concise talk on the frontiers of knowledge and how one can work to the limit of this, he mentioned that he was a regular student, that he had resorted to several courses, but it served to better understand these. He has conducted more than 200 studies, He is director of a cardiology journal and director of institutes of chronic diseases. When I heard about him, I was surprised.

it’s weird to say, but I don’t have a favorite band or artist, I don’t know much about music. I usually like soundtracks of movies, series or video games. For example the imperial march of star wars or the rains of castemere of game of thrones, I consider music I like.  I could say that instrumental music is what I like. I’m not sure why I like it, but I guess it’s because composers seek to express certain things about a story.  In if I don’t have a favorite song, but one of the ones that I marked in my adolescence was an litlle part from Mozart’s lacrimosa, I don’t know why, but I loved it.

This post was difficult for me, I don’t take many pictures. But I found a picture of my last vacation, photo I this took and shows the village of my family, Renaico is a small commune in the Araucania. It was taken in September of last year, specifically for september 18th. I like it for its symbolic value, my girlfriend went there to meet my relatives and it was the first time she traveled south. Now that I think about it I could have taken better pictures and so have better memories portrayed, as maybe even when we can’t travel again. It was a nice trip for both of us, I will take a course in photography so I can have more memories like this
